Wet Glaize is a small, quiet place in Camden County, located in the beautiful Ozarks region of central Missouri. It's found just east of Missouri Route 7, right by a stream called Mill Creek. This creek flows into a bigger one known as Wet Glaize Creek. Nearby towns include Montreal to the northwest and Richland to the southeast. Close to Wet Glaize, on Mill Creek, there's a big fish hatchery. This is a special farm where young fish are raised.
A Look Back in Time
The community of Wet Glaize had its own post office starting in 1848. It helped people send and receive mail for many years, until 1938. The name 'Wet Glaize' comes from a nearby stream called Wet Auglaize Creek.
