A Glimpse into History
Willbriggie has a bit of history tied to its old post office. A post office first opened nearby on 16 November 1881. It was called the Darlington Point Railway Station Post Office.
Over time, its name changed. In 1882, it became the Darlington Railway Station office. Then, in 1909, it was renamed Willbriggie. This post office served the community for many years before it closed in 1975.
