Windom is a small town located in Fannin County, Texas, in the United States. In 2020, about 189 people lived there. This number was a little lower than the 199 people counted in 2010.

Geography of Windom, Texas

Windom is found in the eastern part of Fannin County. A road called Texas State Highway 56 goes right through the town. If you go east on this highway for about 5 miles, you will reach Honey Grove. If you go west for about 10 miles, you will get to Bonham, which is the main town of the county.

The United States Census Bureau says that Windom covers a total area of about 1.4 square kilometers. All of this area is land, with no water.

Students in Windom attend schools that are part of the Honey Grove Independent School District. On July 1, 1987, the Windom Independent School District joined with the Honey Grove ISD. The school in Windom closed in the late 1980s because fewer and fewer students were enrolling there.
