How Window Falls Got Its Name
The water that forms Window Falls comes from Indian Creek, which flows through Hanging Rock State Park. The waterfall gets its special name from a cool rock formation right next to it. This rock has a small opening, like a window, that visitors can look through.
Visiting Window Falls
You can visit Window Falls easily! There's a parking area on Hall Road where you can start your adventure. From there, it's about a 0.6-mile (1 km) walk to the falls. The trail is considered to be of moderate difficulty. As you walk, you'll also pass a viewing area for Hidden Falls.
