About Wolfgang Gartner
How He Started
Joseph Youngman created the name Wolfgang Gartner in late 1999. He was already a successful DJ known for "deep house" music. He wanted to try a new style without people judging him for changing. So, he used the new name secretly at first.
In July 2008, he finally told everyone that he was Wolfgang Gartner. He got the name from a soccer coach at Cal Poly University. The cool Wolfgang Gartner logo you see today was designed in 2010. It was made by a famous New York graffiti artist named Eric Haze.
