Joseph Thomas Youngman (born on March 17, 1982), known as Wolfgang Gartner, is an American DJ and music producer. He creates electronic dance music. Before 2010, he released much of his music on his own record label, Kindergarten. Later, he signed with bigger labels like Ultra Records and Ministry of Sound.

How Wolfgang Gartner Started
Joseph Youngman created the name Wolfgang Gartner in late 1999. He had already become known as a deep house DJ. He wanted to try a new music style without people judging him for changing. So, he used the new name secretly at first. His real identity as Wolfgang Gartner was shared in July 2008. He got the name from a soccer coach at Cal Poly. The current Wolfgang Gartner logo was designed in 2010 by a famous New York graffiti artist named Eric Haze.
TV Appearances
Wolfgang Gartner hosted the first episode of MTV's dance music show "Clubland." This show aired on September 22, 2011. Part of the episode was filmed at his home in Los Angeles, California.
