Woodland is a small town located in Randolph County, Alabama, in the United States. It's a quiet community that officially became a town in 1967. In 2020, about 221 people lived there.

Geography

Where is Woodland?

Woodland is found in the eastern part of Alabama. You can find it on a map using its coordinates: 33.373655 degrees North and 85.395700 degrees West.

The town is located along Alabama State Route 48. This road connects Woodland to Wedowee, which is the main town in Randolph County. Wedowee is about 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Woodland. If you travel northeast on Route 48 for about 10 miles (16 km), you will reach the border between Alabama and Georgia.

The U.S. Census Bureau, which counts people and collects information about places, says that Woodland covers about 1.1 square miles (2.8 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the town limits.
