Xinlong or Nyagrong County is a special area in the western part of Sichuan Province, China. It is managed by the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. A "county" is like a smaller region within a province, similar to a district or a large town area.
Xinlong County is also part of a historical area called Nyarong. This means it has a long history and special traditions.
One important place in Xinlong County is the Jazi Monastery. It's a Nyingma monastery, which is a type of Buddhist temple. It was built in 1866. A famous person named Jazi Amnye Drodul Pema Garwang Lingpa (who lived from 1901 to 1975) studied there when he was young.
