Main Characters

Besides Yakky, here are the other important characters in his cartoons:

  • Chopper (voiced by Vance Colvig): Chopper is a strong bulldog who always protects Yakky. He makes sure no one harms the little duck. Sometimes, he might even pretend not to be Yakky's friend if he thinks it will keep Yakky safe. But usually, he is Yakky's very best friend. Even though he acts tough, Chopper can be childlike too. For example, he once wished he could fly like a bird! Chopper often says, "Now, ain't that cute." He also tells Yakky to close his eyes before he deals with a bad guy.
  • Fibber Fox (voiced by Daws Butler): Fibber Fox is a cunning fox who always tries to catch and eat Yakky. At first, he wanted to use Yakky to get chickens from a henhouse that Chopper was guarding. After that, he decided he really wanted to eat Yakky instead of chicken! Fibber is very clever with his plans. Most of his ideas are about getting Chopper out of the way so he can grab Yakky. But sometimes, even Fibber can't bring himself to hurt the little duck.
  • The Cat (also voiced by Daws Butler): This unnamed cat is related to Fibber Fox. He also tries to eat Yakky. However, the cat often gets into trouble. Chopper usually punishes him, or the owner of the house does.
  • Alfy Gator (voiced by Daws Butler): Alfy Gator is a blue alligator. He tries to catch Yakky because his fancy cookbook says roast duck is delicious. Alfy likes to talk a lot when he sets his traps. He often copies the way Alfred Hitchcock introduced his TV show. Alfy even imitates Hitchcock's famous silhouette pose in most of his cartoons. Once, Alfy and Fibber Fox both tried to catch Yakky at the same time. They decided to work together, but Yakky always managed to escape!
