Snooper and Blabber is a fun cartoon series about two detectives, Super Snooper and his mouse sidekick, Blabber. It was one of three cartoon segments that appeared on The Quick Draw McGraw Show. This show was made by Hanna-Barbera and aired from September 19, 1959, to October 20, 1962. There are 45 episodes in total, each about seven minutes long.

Snooper and Blabber on Quick Draw McGraw
Snooper and Blabber had many adventures solving mysteries in their seven-minute cartoons. They often faced tricky situations and funny characters.
Season 1: 1959–1960 Episodes
The first season had 26 exciting episodes. Snooper and Blabber worked on many different cases. They helped a rich cat, dealt with a witch, and even chased ghosts! They also tried to catch a diamond thief and babysat a very unusual baby. In one episode, they searched for a missing stage star flea! They even had to deal with a giant and a master of disguise. Later, they tried to catch an escaped monkey and remove a pesky gopher from a garden. They also faced robot clones and a sea monster. Some episodes featured other famous characters like Snagglepuss and Hardy Har Har.

The second season brought 13 more cases for the detective duo. They chased a diamond thief in a kangaroo's pouch and went undercover to guard a tiara. They even tried to hunt a special duck and dealt with Blabber after he ate a powerful peanut! Snooper and Blabber also went to the Himalayas to photograph an Abominable Snowman and helped the Bear Family find their stolen porridge.

Season 3: 1961 Episodes
The third and final season had 6 episodes. Snooper and Blabber continued their detective work, catching a "Fly Burglar" and recovering Aladdin's genie. They also tried to find a wild runaway horse and dealt with the Evil Scientist family again. The series ended with them going to prison to prevent a jailbreak, but they ended up getting caught themselves!

Later Adventures of Snooper and Blabber
After their own show, Snooper and Blabber appeared in many other Hanna-Barbera cartoons and movies.
Hanna-Barbera Shows and Movies
Snooper and Blabber were in the 1972 TV-movie Yogi's Ark Lark. This movie was a pilot for the cartoon series Yogi’s Gang. They also appeared in the 1982 special Yogi Bear's All Star Comedy Christmas Caper.
The detective duo also showed up in these other Hanna-Barbera cartoon series:
- In The Yogi Bear Show, they visited Yogi's birthday party.
- They were members of Yogi’s team in Laff-A-Lympics.
- They were regular characters in Yogi's Treasure Hunt.
- In Yo Yogi!, Snooper was voiced by Rob Paulsen, and Blabber was voiced by Hal Smith. Snooper was a famous detective, and Blabber ran a "Crooks 'n' Books Store" at the Jellystone Mall.
- They appeared in the Super Secret Secret Squirrel part of 2 Stupid Dogs (in the episode “Agent Penny”). Rob Paulsen voiced both Snooper and Blabber in this one.
- Snooper made a quick appearance by himself in the 1988 TV-movie The Good, the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound.
- Snooper and Blabber were also in a DC Comics comic book, Deathstroke/Yogi Bear Special #1, where they were captured with other Hanna-Barbera characters.
- They are set to appear in the upcoming series Jellystone!.
Other Media Appearances
Snooper and Blabber also appeared in other types of media, like comic books and music albums.
They were in several comic books and even had their own comic book series from Gold Key Comics. This series only had three issues, published between 1962 and 1963.
In the mid-1960s, Snooper and Blabber starred in two LP albums released by Hanna-Barbera Records:
- James Bomb: In this album, the duo had an adventure similar to James Bond. The record included songs like “Dr. Oh No” and “Gold Pinky.”
- Monster Shindig: Snooper and Blabber were called to investigate a very loud party. It turned out the party was being thrown by The Gruesomes. Paul Frees voiced Snooper, and June Foray voiced Blabber on this record.
In a 2007 episode of Robot Chicken called "Ban on the Fun," Snooper and Blabber appeared in a skit. They confronted a character named the Great Fondoo.
