Yanderra is a small village in the Macarthur Region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is the southernmost part of Sydney located right on the Hume Highway.

In 2016, Yanderra had a population of 661 people. The name Yanderra comes from an Aboriginal word. It means 'turpentine tree'. The local Rural Fire Brigade helps keep the community safe from fires.
How to Get Around Yanderra?
Yanderra once had its own train station, called Yanderra railway station. It was on the Main South railway line. The station served the village from 1924 until 1975.
The station became known for a serious incident that happened nearby. This event involved an explosion and an attempted robbery, which led to the station's closure. Today, the station has been removed, and no parts of it remain.
