Playing for Chicago Fire
In 2013, Yazid Atouba was chosen by the Chicago Fire team in the Major League Soccer (MLS) draft. This meant they wanted him to join their team. He signed his first professional contract with them on March 1, 2013.
Just two days later, he played his first MLS game. It was against the Los Angeles Galaxy, who were the champions at the time. Yazid came into the game in the 70th minute. He played three games for Chicago Fire before leaving the team in March 2014.
