In January 2017, a two-part TV show about the Yorkshire Wolds Way was shown on the BBC. The show was simply called Yorkshire Wolds Way.
The presenter, Paul Rose, walked the trail and described it. He said it was "arguably Britain's least well-known national walking trail." This means he thought it was probably the least famous of all the national walking paths in the UK.
