Yoson An (born June 22, 1992) is a talented actor and filmmaker. He is from both China and New Zealand. Yoson has starred in many movies and TV shows, becoming well-known for his roles in big films like Mulan.

Yoson An's Early Life
Yoson An was born in Guangdong, China. He grew up learning English at an international school in Macau. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Auckland, New Zealand. They were looking for more chances to succeed. Yoson has three younger sisters. One of them, Avena, was born in Auckland.
Even though he didn't go to school in China, Yoson speaks Cantonese and Mandarin very well. However, he cannot read or write Chinese characters. He has learned to recognize some of them.
Yoson went to Saint Kentigern College in Pakuranga, Auckland. While there, he studied music and took part in many school plays.
Yoson An's Acting Career
Yoson An started acting on screen in 2012. He worked on small projects at first. His first big role was in a project called Ghost Bride. In 2017, Yoson got a main role in the TV series Dead Lucky. He saw this as a great chance to work with famous actress Rachel Griffiths.
In 2018, Yoson began acting in American movies. He was cast in the Walt Disney Pictures live-action film Mulan. This movie brought him back together with Xana Tang, who was also in Dead Lucky.
Yoson An's Personal Interests
Outside of acting, Yoson An is very skilled in karate. He holds a black belt, which is a high achievement in the sport. He also has a black cat named Luna.
