Yukari Kinga's Football Journey

Yukari Kinga was born in Yokohama, Japan. She started her professional football career in 2003. She has played for many different clubs.

Playing in Japan

After high school, Yukari joined a team called Nippon TV Beleza in 2003. She played as an attacking midfielder and right-winger. In her first year, she won the Best Young Player award in the Nadeshiko League. Her team, Nippon TV Beleza, won the Nadeshiko League championship five times while she was there.

In 2011, Yukari moved to INAC Kobe Leonessa. She joined other famous players like Homare Sawa. At INAC Kobe Leonessa, her team won the Nadeshiko League championship three years in a row, from 2011 to 2013. She was also chosen as one of the league's best players for six years in a row!

Playing Abroad

In 2014, Yukari decided to play football in England. She joined Arsenal Ladies, a well-known club. She helped Arsenal win the FA Women's Cup in 2014. They won the final match 2-0 against Everton.

After playing for Arsenal, Yukari returned to Japan in 2015 to play for INAC Kobe again. In 2016, she started playing in Australia for Canberra United. In 2017, she joined Melbourne City, another Australian team. She played for Melbourne City until 2019.

Yukari then went back to Japan to play for Orca Kamogawa FC. She later rejoined Melbourne City for a short time in 2019-2020. In 2020, she returned to Orca Kamogawa FC. Since 2021, she has been playing for Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina.

Yukari Kinga also had a fantastic career playing for her country, Japan.

Early National Team Years

In 2002, when she was younger, Yukari was chosen for Japan's Under-20 national team. She played in the 2002 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.

She made her first appearance for the senior Japan national team in 2005. She started as an attacking midfielder and right-winger.

Becoming a Key Player

Around 2007, her coach changed her position to rightback. This change helped her become a regular player for the national team. She played a very important role in many big tournaments.

Japan won the 2011 World Cup, and Yukari played in the final match! She also helped Japan win a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2015, Japan came in second place at the 2015 World Cup.

Yukari played 100 games for Japan and scored 5 goals. She retired from international football in 2016.
