Yulia Anatoliivna Svyrydenko (Ukrainian: Юлія Анатоліївна Свириденко; born on December 25, 1985) is a politician from Ukraine. She currently holds two important jobs. Since November 4, 2021, she has been the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. At the same time, she is also the Minister of Economic Development and Trade for Ukraine.

Education and Early Career
Yulia Svyrydenko studied at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. She finished her studies in 2008. Her degree was in antimonopoly management, which is about making sure businesses compete fairly.
Key Roles in Government
Yulia Svyrydenko has held several important positions in the Ukrainian government. She has worked closely with the President and the Parliament.
Working with the President
On May 5, 2020, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, gave Yulia a special job. She became Ukraine's representative in a group called the Trilateral Contact Group. This group worked to solve problems in a region called Donbas. It included representatives from Ukraine, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and Russia.
Later, on December 22, 2020, President Zelenskyy appointed her to another key role. She became the Deputy Head of the President's Office. This is a very important office that helps the President with his daily work.
Becoming a Minister
On November 4, 2021, the Parliament of Ukraine (which is like their congress) voted for Yulia Svyrydenko. They appointed her as the First Deputy Prime Minister. She also became the Minister of Economy for Ukraine. About 256 members of Parliament voted for her to get these jobs.
Leading Sanctions Policy
In August 2022, the government gave Yulia Svyrydenko another big task. She was chosen to lead a special group called the Interagency Working Group. This group's job was to put in place and manage state sanctions. Sanctions are like penalties or restrictions placed on a country or group. Yulia talked with other countries, like the United Kingdom, to make these sanctions stronger against Russia.
Recognitions and Awards
Yulia Svyrydenko has been recognized for her work and leadership.
In September 2023, she was featured in a special list by Time magazine. This list is called TIME100 Next. It highlights rising leaders who are shaping the future. Time magazine described her as a symbol of the Ukrainian people's strength and ability to recover, especially during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
