Yury Aleksandrovich Gazinsky (born July 20, 1989) is a professional football player from Russia. He plays as a defensive midfielder for Krasnodar. A defensive midfielder helps protect the team's goal and also helps start attacks.

Club Career Highlights
Yury Gazinsky has played for several football clubs in Russia. He is known for his strong play in the midfield.
Early Career and First Teams
Yury started his professional career with Smena Komsomolsk-na-Amure. He played there from 2007 to 2010. After that, he joined Luch-Energiya and played for them until 2012. He then moved to Torpedo Moscow for one season.
Time with FC Krasnodar
In May 2013, Gazinsky signed a three-year contract with Krasnodar. This was a big step in his career. He played for Krasnodar for many years, becoming a key player for the team. He left Krasnodar in May 2022 when his contract ended.
Moving to Ural Yekaterinburg
After leaving Krasnodar, Yury joined Ural Yekaterinburg in August 2022. He played there for two seasons. His contract with Ural ended in June 2024.

Playing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup
One of the biggest moments in his career was being part of Russia's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This major tournament was held in Russia.
