Zheng Chunhua (Chinese: 郑春华; born in 1959) is a famous Chinese writer. She is best known for writing amazing books for children. Her book Big Head Son and Small Head Dad was a huge hit. It was so popular that it was even turned into a cartoon in 1995, which kids loved!

About Zheng Chunhua
Zheng Chunhua was born in 1959 in Chun'an County, Zhejiang, China. Her family belonged to the Hui people. After finishing high school, she worked on a farm. Later, in 1979, she became a nursery governess, which is like a caregiver for young children.
Her Journey as a Writer
Zheng Chunhua started writing and publishing her work in 1980. That same year, her poem called Little Bed won first prize! It was a big win at the Shanghai Youth Poetry Creation Contest. In 1981, she got a job as an editor at the Shanghai Adolescence and Children Press. This was a perfect fit for her love of children's stories.
Her most famous book, Big Head Son and Small Head Dad, came out in 1990. This book quickly became a bestseller among children's literature. Its popularity led to it being made into a cartoon in 1995. The cartoon was also a huge success!
