ʻEwa Gentry is a community in Hawaiʻi, located on the island of Oʻahu. It's about 12 miles (19 km) from Honolulu. This area is a type of community called a census-designated place (CDP). In 2020, about 25,707 people lived here.
The name ʻEwa comes from the Hawaiian word ʻewa, which means "crooked." A long time ago, in the late 1800s and early 1900s, ʻEwa was a big center for growing sugar cane. The ʻEwa Mill was a major employer. Today, sugar cane is no longer grown here. ʻEwa Gentry is now a growing suburban area. It is part of what people call Oʻahu's "Second City," with a main downtown area in Kapolei.

ʻEwa Gentry is found on the western side of Fort Weaver Road (State Route 76). This road goes north to Waipahu. There, it connects to Farrington Highway and the H-1 freeway. Other important roads include Kapolei Parkway and Geiger Road.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the community covers about 2.13 square miles (5.51 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the CDP.
