Áine Minogue (born on May 27, 1977) is a talented Irish harpist and singer. She is also a composer and arranger of music. Áine was born in Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland. She now lives near Boston in the United States. She has released many albums, playing music that is often called Celtic, world, folk, spiritual, or new age.

Early Life and Musical Journey
Áine Minogue grew up in a large family in Ireland. Her family of ten often played music and sang together. They enjoyed traditional Irish events like fleadhs (music festivals) and Hunting the Wren.
When Áine was 12, she started playing the Irish harp. She learned at a boarding school in Galway. Later, she became a harpist at Bunratty Castle in County Clare. This is a famous castle where visitors can experience Irish history.
Áine studied music and earned a Master's Degree. She focused on traditional Irish harp performance at the University of Limerick. In 1990, she moved to Boston to continue her musical career.
Áine Minogue's Music Career
Áine Minogue's first album was called Were You at the Rock. It featured traditional Irish dance tunes and concert pieces.
Her album Mysts of Time (released in 1996) combined traditional Irish melodies with new songs. Many of the lyrics were in the Gaelic language. People often compared her sound to other popular Celtic artists. Her voice was described as soft and beautiful.
Another popular album from 1996 was To Warm the Winter's Night. This collection featured Celtic and English music for the midwinter and Christmas season.
In 1998, Áine released Circle of the Sun. This album took listeners on a musical journey through the seasons. It focused on four important Celtic festivals: Lughnasadh, Samhain, Imbolc, and Beltane. Áine played her Celtic harp alongside other instruments. These included guitars, cellos, fiddles, flutes, and bodhráns (Irish drums). She also used instruments from other cultures, like the didgeridoo and djembe.
Her 2005 album, Celtic Lamentations, explored how ancient people used music to express sadness. This album won an award for Best Celtic Album.
Áine also produced a special Christmas show for CatholicTV called A Winter's Journey. In this show, she played Celtic music with friends at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. The show was even nominated for an award!
