Club History: A Look Back
How AC Prato Started
The AC Prato football club was founded a long time ago, in 1908. That means they have been playing football for over 100 years!
Climbing the Leagues
In the 2010–11 season, the team played in a league called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. They finished in 3rd place, which was a great achievement.
They played in the play-offs but lost to Carrarese in the final match. Even though they lost, they were later allowed to join a higher league, Lega Pro Prima Divisione. This happened because there were open spots in that league.
