"A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" is a famous song from the Walt Disney movie Cinderella (1950). It was written by Mack David, Al Hoffman, and Jerry Livingston. In the movie, Cinderella, voiced by Ilene Woods, sings this song. She tells her animal friends to always keep dreaming. This idea of dreams coming true is a big part of the whole Cinderella story.
The song has been performed by other artists too. Lily James sang it for the live-action Cinderella movie in 2015. In April 2020, Demi Lovato and Michael Bublé performed it for a special TV show called The Disney Family Singalong.

The song has also been used at the start of many Walt Disney anthology television series shows. This includes The Wonderful World Of Disney (1969–1979) and The Magical World Of Disney (1988).
