A Turtle's Tale 2: Sammy's Escape from Paradise is an animated movie from 2012. It's a sequel to the 2010 film A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures. In the UK, it's called Sammy's Great Escape. This movie was made in Belgium and France. It features the voices of actors like Kaitlyn Maher, Khary Payton, and Carlos Alazraqui.

Story of the Movie

The movie starts with Sammy and Ray, two sea turtles, looking after their new grandchildren. Suddenly, seagulls attack! Sammy, Ray, and two of their grandchildren, Ella and Ricky, get caught by a fishing boat.

Ella and Ricky are separated from their grandfathers. They end up on the seabed. Sammy and Ray are taken to a big aquarium. Inside the aquarium, they meet new friends. These include Lulu, a lobster, and Jimbo, a blobfish.

A seahorse named Big D is in charge of escape plans at the aquarium. Meanwhile, Ella and Ricky team up with Annabel and Margaret, a mother and daughter octopus. They want to rescue their grandfathers.

The young turtles are chased by barracudas as they try to reach the aquarium. After some difficulty, Ella and Ricky figure out the escape plan. Several squids will squirt ink into the air system. Then, all the sea creatures in the aquarium will pretend to be dead.

Before the escape, Sammy and Ray need to deal with Big D, who is a bit bossy. Finally, the aquarium manager opens the emergency doors. All the sea creatures swim out to freedom!
