Early Life and Career

Abdulhussain Abdulredha was born in a village called Derwazat Al Abdulrazzaq in Sharq, Kuwait. He was one of 14 children in his family.

He started his career working in the Department of Printing for the Kuwaiti government. He even traveled to Egypt in 1956 and Germany in 1961 to learn more about printmaking. He worked his way up to a leadership role in the printing section before becoming a full-time actor. He had five children: three daughters (Mona, Bebe, and Manal) and two sons (Bashar and Adnan).

A Play About the Invasion

After Kuwait was freed from invasion, many artists made plays and shows about what happened. In 1992, Abdulredha starred in a play called Sword of the Arabs.
