Abel Ramón Caballero Álvarez (born 2 September 1946) is an important Spanish politician. He is currently the mayor of Vigo, a big city in Galicia, Spain. He has been the mayor since June 2007. He is also the president of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) since September 2015.
