Absecon Highlands is located in the eastern part of Atlantic County. It's bordered by the city of Absecon to the south. The community includes several smaller areas, such as Seaview Estates, Seaview Park, Conovertown, and Holly Brook.

The main road that goes through Absecon Highlands is U.S. Route 9. This road is also known as New York Road. If you travel north on U.S. Route 9, you can reach the Garden State Parkway in Port Republic in about 7 miles. If you head south, the road goes through Absecon and reaches the Atlantic City Expressway in Pleasantville in about 4 miles.
