Ace Attorney, known as Gyakuten Saiban (逆転裁判, lit. "Turnabout Trial") in Japan, is a super popular video game series created by Capcom. These games are available on many different consoles, like the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. In these games, you play as a defense attorney who has to prove that their client is innocent. You'll search for clues, talk to witnesses, and argue your case in court!
About the Games
The Ace Attorney series is a type of game called a visual novel. This means the story is very important, and you read a lot of text. But it's also an adventure game because you get to explore and solve puzzles. The main goal is always to find the real person who committed the crime and make sure justice is served.
You'll play as different lawyers, like the famous Phoenix Wright. Your job is to gather evidence and listen to what witnesses say. Then, in the courtroom, you'll cross-examine witnesses. This means you question them closely to find any lies or mistakes in their stories. When you find a contradiction, you can present your evidence to show the truth!
