Achraf Lazaar is a talented football player from Morocco. He was born on January 22, 1992. He usually plays as a left midfielder or a left back. This means he helps both defend and attack on the left side of the field. He has played for several clubs in Italy, England, and Portugal. He also represents his home country, Morocco, in international matches.

Achraf Lazaar's Club Journey

Achraf was born in Casablanca, Morocco. In 2003, he moved to Italy with his family. He started playing football in the youth team of Varese when he was 15 years old.

Starting in Italy

In 2012, Achraf made his first professional appearance for Varese. He played in Serie B, which is Italy's second-highest football league. He quickly became known as a promising young player.

In January 2014, a top team in Serie B, Palermo, signed him. He first joined them on a temporary deal. Achraf played so well that Palermo decided to sign him permanently. He became an important part of their team for the 2014–15 season.

Moving to England

On August 28, 2016, Achraf joined Newcastle United in England. He signed a five-year contract with the club. He played his first game for Newcastle in a cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2016. His first league game was in October 2016.

Achraf Lazaar was born in Morocco, so he can play for the Morocco national team. He also gained Italian citizenship in 2015.

He had always said he would play for the first national team that truly wanted him. His great performances in Italy caught the attention of the Moroccan team. They called him up for a friendly match in May 2014. Achraf made his first international appearance for Morocco in that game, which they won 4–0.
