Rolf Adam Engelbrekt Alsing (born October 12, 1968 – died April 15, 2020) was a famous Swedish TV and radio host. He was well-known for hosting shows like Big Brother Sweden on Kanal 5. He also hosted Jeopardy! and his own show, Adam Live. Later, he became a popular voice on radio stations like Rix FM and Mix Megapol.

Biography
Adam grew up in Karlstad and Sollefteå, Sweden. When he was in high school, he worked as a disc jockey (DJ) playing music. He started his career hosting local radio shows for Sveriges Radio.
When the TV channel TV4 began in 1990, Adam started his TV journey. His first show was Twist & Shout. In 1991, he became the host of a dating show called Tur i kärlek (Love at First Sight) with Agneta Sjödin. They hosted over 100 episodes together!
In 1993, Adam moved to TV3 and started his own talk show named Adam. In the mid-1990s, Adam and Nikola Söderlund created a company called "Think Big Productions." They produced TV shows like Utmanarna on TV3 and Måndagsklubben on Kanal 5.
Adam hosted the Swedish version of Big Brother from 2000 to 2004 on Kanal 5. He also hosted the reality show Masterplan in 2005. From 2006 to 2007, he hosted Jeopardy! on TV4, taking over from Magnus Härenstam.
Did you know that the artist Basshunter recorded two songs about Adam Alsing? These songs were "Boten Adam" and "Sitter i luren och väntar på Adam Alsing". "Boten Adam" became one of the most downloaded ringtones in Sweden in 2006.
From 2009 to 2011, Adam hosted Sveriges värsta bilförare (Sweden's Worst Driver) on TV4. Between 2011 and 2012, he hosted Adam Live, a live talk show on TV3. In 2014, he hosted Big Brother again, this time on Kanal 9. Adam also appeared as a contestant on the TV show På spåret in 2011 with Stefan Holm.
Radio Career
Adam Alsing was also a very popular radio host. From 2004 to 2011, he hosted the radio show Äntligen morgon (Finally Morning) on Mix Megapol. He worked with Gry Forssell and Anders Timell on this show.
From 2012 until he passed away in 2020, Adam hosted a podcast called Adam & Kompani. He hosted it with Daniel Breitholtz and Carin da Silva. They had all met while working on the TV show Adam Live.
From 2013 to 2017, Adam also hosted the morning show Rix MorronZoo on Rix FM. He hosted this show with Marko "Markoolio" Lehtosalo and Brita Zackari.
Personal life
Adam Alsing was the son of Rolf Alsing, who used to be the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Aftonbladet. Adam was married to Anette, and they had two sons together.
Adam Alsing passed away on April 15, 2020, when he was 51 years old. He died from COVID-19.
