Aditya Narayan Jha (born 6 August 1987) is a famous Indian singer, TV host, and actor. He is the son of the well-known singer Udit Narayan. Aditya is best known for hosting the popular singing show Indian Idol and for being a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.

Early Life and Family
Aditya Narayan was born to singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan. In November 2020, he shared that he would be marrying Shweta Agarwal. They got married on 1 December 2020, in a small ceremony in Mumbai. In March 2022, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Starting His Career as a Child
Aditya began singing for films when he was very young. His first song was for a Nepalese movie called Mohini in 1992. He also sang for the Hindi film Rangeela with the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. In 1995, he sang a song with his father, Udit Narayan, for the movie Akele Hum Akele Tum.
Aditya also started acting as a child. A famous producer, Subhash Ghai, saw him perform at an awards show in 1995. Ghai then cast him in the film Pardes, which starred Shah Rukh Khan. His next film was Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai with Salman Khan. For his role in this movie, Aditya was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor award.
As a child artist, Aditya sang over 100 songs. One of his biggest hits was "Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke" from the film Masoom in 1996. This song even won him an award for Best Child Singer.
Becoming a TV Host
After studying music in London, Aditya returned to India in 2006. He auditioned to host Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and got the job. He became a very popular TV host. In 2008, he went on a concert tour in North America with his father.
Aditya continued to host many seasons of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. He also hosted other big reality shows like X Factor in 2011 and Rising Star in 2019. He has been a host for Indian Idol for several seasons, including Indian Idol 11, Indian Idol 12, and Indian Idol 15. He also hosted Superstar Singer 2 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023.
Acting in Films as an Adult
In 2009, Aditya signed his first film as a lead actor, called Shaapit. It was released in 2010. He sang four songs for the film and even wrote and composed the title song.
In 2012, Aditya worked as an assistant director for the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. He also sang two songs for this movie, "Tattad Tattad" and "Ishqaun Dhishqyaun".
Music and Other Projects
Aditya has also released his own songs. In 2014, he released his first independent song "Tu Hi Pyar Hai". He also started his own band called The A Team. He has released several other singles like "Tera Ishq Jee Paaun", "Zindagi", "Mohabbat", "Behka Behka", "Yaara", "Lillah", "Kyun", and "Main Dooba Rahoon".
In 2019, Aditya took part in the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. He was the runner-up in the competition. He has also made guest appearances on shows like Entertainment Ki Raat, Khatra Khatra Khatra, Kitchen Champion, The Kapil Sharma Show, Bigg Boss 13, India's Best Dancer, and Zee Comedy Show. In 2024, he made a special appearance in the TV show Pandya Store.
