Music Career Highlights

Starting in the Music World

A music executive named Paul Stewart helped Adriana Evans get her first record deal. He was the CEO of PMP Records. Paul heard Adriana's demo songs and saw her in a music video. He was very impressed by her talent.

Even though her first record label, Capitol Records, closed down, Paul Stewart still believed in Adriana. He brought her to his own company, PMP Records. That's where she released her first album, Adriana Evans.

Popular Songs and Albums

Adriana's first album had two hit songs: "Love Is All Around" and "Seein' Is Believing." These songs were played a lot on the radio. "Love Is All Around" reached number 65 on the R&B charts, and "Seein' Is Believing" reached number 50.

After her first album, Adriana took a break from the music business. She spent some time in Brazil. She didn't release another album until 2004. This album was called Nomadic. It explored different types of music, all connected by what she called "African music."

The next year, in 2005, she released Kismet, which was a collection of her songs. In 2007, Adriana released El Camino. This album was greatly influenced by her time living in Brazil. Her fifth album, Walking with the Night, came out in 2010. The first song from that album was "Weatherman."

Music for Television

Adriana also recorded new songs for the TV show Noah's Arc. This show was very popular on Logo TV. Her song "Remember Love" was used as the opening theme song for both seasons of the show in 2005 and 2006. Other songs from her albums Nomadic and El Camino were also featured on the show's soundtrack.
