Adriana Evans (also known as Adriana Madera) was born in 1974. She is an American singer and songwriter known for her R&B and soul music. Adriana was born in San Francisco, California. Her mother, Mary Stallings, is also a famous jazz singer. Adriana released her first album, named Adriana Evans, in 1997. It became quite popular, reaching number 33 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Adriana Evans' Music Journey

Paul Stewart, who was the CEO of PMP Records, played a big part in Adriana Evans' early career. He helped her get a record deal in the 1990s. Stewart was impressed by Adriana after hearing her demo songs. He also saw her in a music video for a song called "Check the Vibe."

When Capitol Records closed down, Paul Stewart brought Adriana to his own PMP Records. There, she released her first album, Adriana Evans. This album had two popular songs: "Love Is All Around" and "Seein' Is Believing." "Love Is All Around" reached number 65 on the R&B charts, and "Seein' Is Believing" reached number 50.

After her first album, Adriana felt a bit tired of the music business. She decided to take a break and spent some time in Brazil. She did not release another album until 2004. This album was called Nomadic. It explored many different music styles. Adriana said the album had a theme of "African music." The next year, in 2005, she released Kismet, which was a collection of songs.

In 2007, Adriana released El Camino. This album showed even more influence from her time in Brazil. Her fifth album, Walking with the Night, came out in 2010. The first song from that album was "Weatherman."

Adriana also recorded new songs for the TV show Noah's Arc. This show was on Logo TV. Her song Remember Love was used as the opening theme song for both seasons in 2005 and 2006. Some songs from her albums Nomadic (2004) and El Camino (2007) also appeared on the show's soundtrack.
