The AdventHealth 400 is a big NASCAR Cup Series car race. It happens at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. This race started in 2011. It was added as a second yearly race at Kansas Speedway. The other race there is the Hollywood Casino 400. Kyle Larson is the current winner of this race, having won in 2025.

Race History and Changes

The first race was called the STP 400. It took place on June 5, 2011. The race distance was 400.5 miles. This is about 644.5 kilometers. Brad Keselowski won this first race. He beat Dale Earnhardt Jr. by saving fuel.

Changes to Race Dates

In 2012, the race date moved to April 22. This gave Kansas Speedway more time. They needed to finish changes to the track. The race stayed in April for 2013. In 2014, the race moved to May. It was also held at night for the first time. In 2020, the race was supposed to be on a Sunday afternoon. It was planned for the weekend after the Coca-Cola 600. However, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a delay. The race was then held on July 23 as a Thursday night event.

Different Race Names Over Time

The race has had many different names. From 2011 to 2013, it was the STP 400. In 2014, it became the "5-hour Energy 400". This race helped the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

In 2015, Nickelodeon sponsored the race. It was named the SpongeBob SquarePants 400. Then, GoBowling.com sponsored it from 2016 to 2017. KC Masterpiece took over in 2018. Digital Ally sponsored the race in 2019. In 2020, O'Reilly Auto Parts' Super Start Batteries was the sponsor.

In 2021, the sponsor changed again. It became Busch Beer. They let fans choose the race name. This was part of a contest. Fans paid $1 to enter. The money went to a charity called Farm Rescue. The winning name was "Buschy McBusch Race 400".
