Agnes Cathinka Wilhelmine Lunn (born March 16, 1850 – died December 12, 1941) was a talented Danish artist. She was known for both her paintings and her sculptures.

Agnes Lunn was born in 1850 at Rønnebæksholm, Denmark. From a young age, she loved to draw, especially horses. She was fascinated by how animals looked and moved. This interest led her to become a sculptor, creating amazing artworks. She passed away in 1941 in Sønder Jernløse.
Her Art Education
Agnes Lunn studied art with famous teachers in Denmark, including F. C. Lund and Otto Bache. She also traveled to Paris, France, to learn from other great artists like J.-L. Gérôme and Leon Bonnat. She attended the art school for women at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
Agnes Lunn loved to travel and learn. She visited many countries to explore art and nature. Her travels took her to places like Paris, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and even Iceland. These journeys helped inspire her artwork.
Exhibitions and Famous Works
Agnes Lunn showed her art in many important exhibitions. Her works were displayed at the spring exhibition at Charlottenborg and at the Women's Exhibition in Copenhagen. She also had art at the National Exhibition of 1909 in Aarhus.
Years later, in 2016, a special exhibition of her sculptures and paintings was held at the David Collection in Copenhagen.
