The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is a special place in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It was first thought of by the Muscle Shoals Music Association in the early 1980s. A group called the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Board helped build the first part of the museum. This happened after people in Alabama voted for it in 1987. The museum is about 12,500 square feet, which is a pretty big space!

Future Plans for the Hall of Fame
There are exciting plans for the future of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame! They are planning two more big additions:
- The second part will be a large auditorium with 1500 seats. It will have amazing sound and video equipment for recording.
- The third part will be a special library. This library will be for researching "southern music."
