Aldrovani Menon (born July 30, 1972), known as Aldro, is a former professional Brazilian football player. He played as a striker, which means his main job was to score goals for his team. Aldro played for many different clubs during his career, including some in Japan.
Aldro's Football Journey
Aldro started his football career in Brazil. In 1993, he joined a Japanese club called Yokohama Flügels. This team played in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league.
Playing in Japan
Aldro played many games as a forward for Yokohama Flügels in 1993. He was an important part of the team that year. However, he did not play as much in 1994. He left the club at the end of the 1994 season.
In 1995, Aldro moved to another Japanese club, NEC Yamagata. This team played in the Japan Football League. This league was a step below the J1 League at that time. He played for NEC Yamagata until 1997.
Back in Brazil
After his time in Japan, Aldro returned to Brazil. He continued his career playing for many different clubs across Brazil. He played for teams like Ceará, Figueirense, Bahia, and Paysandu. He retired from playing professional football after a long career.
