Box Office Poison tells the story of young people living in New York City. The main character works in a bookstore, which was a job Robinson himself had for seven years.

In October 2007, Robinson released Alex Robinson's Lower Regions. This comic is 56 pages long and features a brave barbarian fighting monsters.
His next graphic novel was Too Cool to Be Forgotten. This book, published in July 2008, is a story about time travel and high school. In November 2009, he released A Kidnapped Santa Claus. This book was based on a story by Frank L. Baum.
