Alina Smith (born August 25, 1987) is a talented Russian-American pop singer, songwriter, and music producer. She is one of the people who started Lyre, a company that writes and produces music. Alina has helped create songs for many famous artists, including Betty Who, Itzy, Kep1er, Gabi DeMartino, and Red Velvet.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
Alina Smith was born in St. Petersburg, which was part of the Soviet Union. She started singing and playing the piano when she was just three years old. By the time she was four, she could speak both English and Russian very well. When she was five, she began writing her own music, poems, and stories. As a child, Alina even toured with a music group called Aurora, where she was a singer.
Alina's Music Career
Alina Smith has had an exciting career in music. In 2010, a big music company in Japan, Sony Japan, chose her song "Fallin' 4 U" to be the first song for an artist named Aisha. This song even featured Darryl McDaniels from the famous group Run DMC. In 2011, Alina's own song "Kissing Tree" was put on a special CD. This CD was sold to help raise money for people affected by the big earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
In 2015, Alina signed a deal with a major music publishing company called BMG/Chrysalis. Her song "Free Beer" was released and became popular on a satellite radio channel called The Highway (Sirius XM). She also performed her song "Ride" on The Bobby Bones Show podcast.
