They are usually a lilac or reddish-violet color. They often have darker lines in the middle of each tepal.
Where Does It Grow?
This wild chive is found across a wide area in East Asia. In Russia, it grows in places like Amur Oblast and Khabarovsk. It also grows in Primorye. In China, you can find it in Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang. It also grows in Jilin and Liaoning provinces. Its favorite spots are along the edges of lakes and rivers.
