Alyona Subbotina (born February 13, 1990) is a famous fashion model and businesswoman from Kazakhstan. She became known around the world after she was chosen to open the Givenchy fashion show in Paris in 2011. She has worked with many top designers, including Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, and Helmut Lang.

Growing Up
Alyona Subbotina was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Her parents were from Russia. When she was younger, she was part of the Kazakh Olympic Volleyball team. She started her modeling career at age 16 in Singapore. At the same time, she was also studying Hotel Management at the East Asia Institute of Management.
Her Modeling Career
Alyona's modeling journey began when she was 16. Two agents discovered her and invited her to join Kazakhstan Fashion Week. This led to more modeling jobs in Singapore. Her unique look quickly got her noticed and helped her find work.
Big Break in Paris
In 2011, the famous fashion house Givenchy chose Alyona to exclusively open their show at Paris Fashion Week. This was a huge moment for her career. People loved her performance, and she was asked to move to New York City to continue her work.
