Anaco is a city in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela. It is the main town of Anaco Municipality. This city is known for its important natural gas and petroleum industries. In 2005, about 106,275 people lived there.
Getting Around Anaco
The city has an airport called Anaco Airport. However, it no longer offers flights for passengers. Anaco is also located on a major highway. This road connects it to San Tomé and El Tigre in the south. It also links Anaco to Puerto la Cruz on the coast.
