Ancistrus tamboensis is a special kind of catfish. It belongs to a family of fish called Loricariidae. This fish lives in South America. You can find it in the Tambo River area of Peru. The Tambo River flows into the Ucayali River. This catfish is about 8.2 centimeters (3.2 inches) long. It gets its name from the Tambo River, where it was first found.
