Anderstorp is a small town in Sweden. It is located in Gislaved Municipality, within Jönköping County. In 2010, about 4,965 people lived there.
Anderstorp is known for a few exciting things. It has a famous race track and a successful sports team. It also has many businesses for its size.
Anderstorp's Race Track
Anderstorp is home to the Scandinavian Raceway. This is a special race track where big events have happened. From 1973 to 1978, the track hosted the Swedish Grand Prix. These were exciting Formula One races. Formula One is a top level of car racing. Drivers compete in very fast, open-wheel cars.
Sports in Anderstorp
The town also has a well-known sports club called Anderstorps SK. This club is especially famous for its men's handball teams. Handball is a team sport. Players pass a ball and try to throw it into the opponent's goal.
