Andrew Ford Valentino Espiritu (born July 30, 1967), known as Andrew E., is a famous Filipino rapper and actor. He is well-known in the Philippines for his first big hit song "Humanap Ka ng Panget" (which means Find an ugly person). This song came out in 1990. Andrew E. also won an award for 'Rap Album of the Year' in 2010 for his album Clubzilla.

Andrew E.'s Journey in Music and Acting
Andrew E. started his career as a DJ in a popular club called Euphoria. In 1990, he was discovered by a famous guitarist named Ramon Jacinto. Soon after, he made his first TV appearance on a variety show called That's Entertainment on GMA-7.
His professional music career officially began in December 1990. That's when he released his first hit song, "Humanap Ka ng Panget" (meaning Find Someone Who Is Ugly). This song became very popular across the Philippines.
Starting His Own Music Label
In 1997, Andrew E. decided to help other rap artists. He started his own independent rap label called Dongalo Wreckords. His goal was to find and produce new rap talents. One of the most successful groups he discovered was Salbakuta. Their first song, "S2upid Luv," became a huge hit. It was so popular that it even led to a movie starring Andrew E. himself!
Andrew E. in Japan
In the late 1990s, Andrew E. spent some time in Japan. He performed in clubs there and even released a CD with two rap songs in Japanese. These songs were about a tourist's funny adventures in Tokyo. A Japanese producer noticed his unique style and offered to help him.

Andrew E. has worked with many big names in the entertainment industry. He has collaborated with singers like Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez. He also worked with fellow rappers like Francis M. and groups like Death Threat.
In 2016, Andrew E. returned to acting in TV dramas. He played the role of Uge in the ABS-CBN series Dolce Amore. Uge was the biological father of the main character, Serena, played by Liza Soberano.
He also starred in the comedy film "Raketeros" in 2013. This movie was part of Star Cinema's 20th-anniversary celebration. More recently, he returned to Viva Films with the comedy movie Sanggano, Sanggago't Sanggwapo in 2019. He starred alongside Dennis Padilla, Janno Gibbs, and the late Eddie Garcia.

In 2018, there was a discussion about his hit song "Humanap Ka ng Panget." Some people said it was very similar to a song called "Find an Ugly Woman" by DJ Cash Money and MC Marvelous. They suggested that Andrew E.'s song might have been an unauthorized translation. This discussion happened after a TV show paid tribute to Andrew E.
