Andrew Ford Valentino Espiritu (born July 30, 1967), known professionally as Andrew E., is a famous Filipino rapper and actor. He is very well-known in the Philippines for his first hit song, "Humanap Ka ng Panget" (which means "Find an Ugly Person"), released in 1990. Andrew E. also won an award for Rap Album of the Year for his album Clubzilla in 2010. One of his songs, "Shoot Shoot Part 2," was even used as music for a political campaign song.

Andrew E.'s Journey in Music and Acting

Andrew E. started his career as a DJ in a popular club called Euphoria. He was discovered by the famous guitarist Ramon "RJ" Jacinto in 1990. He first appeared on TV in a variety show called That's Entertainment on GMA-7. His professional music career began in December 1990 when he released his first song, "Humanap Ka ng Panget."

In 1997, Andrew E. started his own rap music label called Dongalo Wreckords. He wanted to find and help new rap artists. One of the groups he helped was Salbakuta. Their first song, "S2upid Luv," became a huge hit. This song was so popular that it even led to a movie starring Andrew E.

Andrew E. also spent some time in Japan in the late 1990s. He performed in clubs and released a CD with two rap songs in Japanese. These songs were about a tourist's funny adventures in Tokyo. A Japanese producer noticed him and offered to help him if he became a Japanese citizen.

In 2000, he worked as a consultant for the mayor of Caloocan City. His job was to help with entertainment and cultural events.

He was also a judge on the TV show Showtime on ABS-CBN in 2010. He later returned as a judge for a segment called "Hype Best."

Andrew E. has worked with many famous Filipino artists. These include singers like Sharon Cuneta, Willie Revillame, Regine Velasquez, and Francis M.. He has also worked with actors like Maricel Soriano, Charlene Gonzalez, and Rica Peralejo.

In 2016, Andrew E. returned to acting in the TV drama series Dolce Amore. He played the role of Uge, who was the biological father of the main character, Serena. His first movie with Star Cinema was "Raketeros," a comedy film released in 2013.

Andrew E. also returned to acting in comedy films with Sanggano, Sanggago't Sanggwapo. This movie marked his return to Viva Films after his last film with them in 2003. Sanggano, Sanggago't Sanggwapo was released in theaters in September 2019. He starred alongside Dennis Padilla and Janno Gibbs in this movie.
