Crayon Shin-chan (Japanese: クレヨンしんちゃん, Kureyon Shin-chan), also known as Shin-chan in some countries, is a very popular Japanese manga and anime series. It was created by Yoshito Usui. The story is about the funny daily life of a five-year-old boy named Shinnosuke "Shin-chan" Nohara.
The manga series has 54 volumes, including the newer New Crayon Shin-chan series. The anime TV show started in 1992 and has aired over 900 episodes. There have also been many movies, with 24 released by 2016. Crayon Shin-chan is loved by many people around the world. In Japan, the show is broadcast on TV Asahi, and in India, it airs on Hungama TV.

What is Crayon Shin-chan About?
The main character, Shinnosuke "Shin-chan" Nohara, is a five-year-old boy who loves to have fun. He often does things that annoy his parents and teachers, but he usually means well. He just wants to enjoy himself, and sometimes that leads to funny and silly situations for everyone around him.

Besides the movies shown in theaters, there have also been special feature-length episodes broadcast on television. For example, a special crossover episode called Kamen Rider Den-O + Shin-O aired in 2007. Another special aired in April 2012, featuring Shin-chan and Kamen Rider Fourze. These specials helped promote new Crayon Shin-chan movies and other shows.
