You can find Angas Valley on the road that connects Mount Pleasant (up in the ranges) and Walker Flat (right on the Murray River). It's a great location for exploring both the hills and the river.

The Old School
Many years ago, Angas Valley had its own school. It opened in 1891 and taught local children for many years. The school closed its doors in 1928.
The Post Office
The town also had a post office. The Angas Valley Post Office first opened in April 1886. Later, in January 1910, it became a "receiving office," which meant it handled mail but might have had fewer services. The post office eventually closed in August 1917.
