Angus North and Mearns (in Gaelic: Aonghas a Tuath agus a' Mhaoirne) is an area in Scotland that elects one person to the Scottish Parliament. This special area is called a constituency. The Scottish Parliament is also known as Holyrood.

The person elected from this area is called a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP). They are chosen using a system called first past the post. This means the candidate with the most votes wins.

Angus North and Mearns is one of ten constituencies in the North East Scotland electoral region. This region also elects seven extra MSPs, called "additional members". This helps make sure that the number of MSPs from each political party in the region is fair.

This constituency was created for the 2011 Scottish Parliament election. It includes parts of areas that used to be in other constituencies. Since the 2016 Scottish Parliament election, Mairi Gougeon from the Scottish National Party has been the MSP for Angus North and Mearns.
