Antonius Cleveland (born February 2, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Lokomotiv Kuban in the VTB United League. Before becoming a pro, he played college basketball for Southeast Missouri State University. He also played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks.

Antonius Cleveland's Early Life
Antonius Cleveland was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the only child of his mother, Shonda Bowie. His mother worked two jobs to support them both. She was a nutrition supervisor during the day and worked for FedEx at night.
Antonius started playing basketball in high school. He played his first two years at Overton High School in Memphis. For his junior year, he moved to Germantown High School. He finished his senior year at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Georgia.
College Basketball Journey
Antonius Cleveland played college basketball for four seasons. He attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a top player for his team.
Leading Scorer in College
Antonius was the team's best scorer in his junior and senior years. In his junior year, he scored 15.2 points per game. He also had 1.6 steals and 6.6 rebounds per game. In his senior year, he scored 16.6 points per game. He was also great at stealing the ball and shooting accurately.
College Honors
In 2017, Antonius was recognized for his excellent play. He was chosen for the All-Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) first-team. This showed he was one of the best players in his college league.
Antonius Cleveland's Professional Career
After college, Antonius Cleveland started his professional basketball journey. He played for several teams in different leagues.
Starting in the NBA (2017-2018)
Antonius was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play. He joined the Portland Trail Blazers for the NBA Summer League. After that, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks. He played his first NBA game in November 2017. During this time, he also played for the Mavericks' minor league team, the Texas Legends.
Later, in 2018, Antonius signed with the Atlanta Hawks. He played a few games for them before being released. He then joined the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA G League.
Return to Dallas and Oklahoma City (2019-2021)
In 2019, Antonius Cleveland returned to the Dallas Mavericks. He signed a special contract that allowed him to play for both the Mavericks and the Texas Legends. He played well for the Legends, averaging 14.4 points and 7.3 rebounds.
In 2020, he briefly signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He then played for their G League team, the Oklahoma City Blue.
Playing in Australia (2021-2023)
Antonius moved to Australia in 2021 to play for the Illawarra Hawks. He had a fantastic season there. He was named the NBL Best Defensive Player for the 2021-22 season.
In 2022, he signed with the Adelaide 36ers. He continued to show his strong defensive skills. He won the NBL Best Defensive Player Award for a second time in the 2022-23 season.
Playing in Israel (2023-2024)
After his time in Australia, Antonius played in Israel. In 2023, he joined Hapoel Eilat. Later that year, he signed a two-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv. He played for Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2023-24 season.
Current Team (2024-Present)
As of 2024, Antonius Cleveland plays for Lokomotiv Kuban. This team is part of the VTB United League.
