Ariel Meredith is an American model. She was born on July 11, 1986, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ariel appeared in the famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue several times, including in 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. She started modeling part-time in 1998 while still in school.

Early Life and Education
Ariel Meredith grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She attended Huntington High School. During her senior year (2001–2002), she was a senior senator on the student council. She also served as the parliamentarian for her senior class. After graduating from high school, Ariel moved to New York City to pursue her career. Her mother's name is Marjorie Meredith, and her father's name is David Meredith.
Modeling Career
Ariel Meredith was first discovered when she was 14 years old. However, she waited until she finished her education in 2008 to become a full-time model.
Early Steps in Modeling
In 1998, Ariel won a modeling competition in Dallas that had 500 contestants. After winning, she signed with Ford Models in New York and Campbell Modeling Agency in Dallas. She received 32 offers from different agencies after the contest. As a teenager, she appeared in popular magazines like Seventeen, Teen Cosmopolitan, Cosmopolitan, and Teen. She began traveling within the United States for work while still in school. In 2002, she was featured on the MTV show Fashionably Loud. She started modeling regularly in 2005. Early in her career, one of her agencies asked her to have surgery, but she refused and left that agency.
Rising to Stardom
In 2007, The New York Times mentioned Ariel's YouTube video. In the video, she shared a beauty tip about using a toothbrush to gently scrub her lips before applying lip gloss.
In September 2008, Ariel made her big debut at New York Fashion Week. She walked the runway for famous designers like Vera Wang and Nicole Miller. Her experience was even featured in USA Today. She walked in shows for a total of eleven fashion designers, including opening a show for Junya Watanabe. This marked her growing success in the fashion world. After her shows in New York, she also walked in eight shows in Milan, Italy. She has modeled for many top brands such as Baby Phat, Brioni, Diesel, D&G, Elie Saab, and Victoria's Secret. According to The Times-Picayune newspaper, her performances in New York and Milan in September 2008 made her a rising star in the modeling industry.
Advertising Campaigns and Sports Illustrated
Ariel was part of the 2009 Spring/Summer Dolce & Gabbana advertising campaign. These photos were taken by the famous photographer Mario Testino. She has also posed for many other well-known companies. These include J.Crew, Ann Taylor Loft, H&M, David's Bridal, Cover Girl eyewear, Fossil, Target, Garnier Fructis, Nine West, Roca Wear, The Limited, Sephora, Levi's, and Gap.
In 2009, Ariel shot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in Mexico. The photos were taken on beaches, in lagoons, at cantinas, and in nature preserves near Tulum, Mexico, on the Mayan Riviera. As of 2014, Ariel Meredith was represented by Supreme Management in New York City.
