Juan Carlos "Arjo" Campo Atayde (born November 5, 1990) is a Filipino actor and politician. He is known for his roles in TV shows and the web series Bagman. Since 2022, he has been a representative for Quezon City's 1st district in the Philippine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Nacionalista Party.

Early Life and Family
Arjo Atayde was born on November 5, 1990. His mother is actress Sylvia Sanchez. His father is Arturo Atayde, a Spanish-Filipino businessman. Arjo is the oldest of four children. His siblings are Ria, Gela, and Xavi. He went to La Salle Green Hills and Reedley International School.
Acting Career Highlights
Arjo Atayde started acting at age 9 in a show called Ang TV. He later took a break from acting to focus on school. In 2012, he returned to acting in the show E-Boy.
He has appeared in many episodes of the drama series Maalaala Mo Kaya. For his roles in this show, he won awards like "Best New Male TV Personality" in 2012. He also won "Best Single Performance by an Actor" in 2014 for playing a gay parent.
In 2013, he played Rafael de Lara in Dugong Buhay. He won an award for Best Supporting Actor for this role. Later, he starred as Joaquin Tuazon in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, which was a very important role for him.
Arjo also received praise for his roles in 2019. He played Benjo in the show Bagman, where he won "Best Actor in a Leading Role". He also played Elai, a character with autism, in The General's Daughter. People praised his sensitive portrayal of autism in that show.
Business Ventures
In July 2024, Arjo Atayde opened his first "Inasal Republic" restaurant. This restaurant chain serves Filipino food. He started this business with friends and family members.
Political Career
Serving in Congress (2022–Present)
In 2022, Arjo Atayde decided to run for a political position. He ran to become a representative for Quezon City's 1st district. He ran as an independent candidate. He won the election with many votes, becoming the new representative. He officially started his term on June 30, 2022.
On October 8, 2022, Arjo Atayde joined the Nacionalista Party. This is one of the oldest political parties in the Philippines.
Personal Life
Arjo Atayde is married to actress and TV host Maine Mendoza. They got married on July 28, 2023, in Baguio.
