Arlo White is known for his exciting play-by-play commentary, especially for soccer (football) and golf. He has worked for big sports channels like NBC Sports and BBC Radio 5 Live. He has also covered major soccer leagues like the Premier League and Major League Soccer (MLS). Currently, he is the main commentator for the LIV Golf league.

Starting His Career

Arlo White started his broadcasting career when he was 27 years old. He gained experience by covering local soccer games for BBC Radio Derby. He also worked in Australia, which helped him learn more about sports reporting.

Working for the BBC

In 2001, Arlo White joined the BBC. He presented a show called "Sport on Five" for BBC Radio 5 Live. From 2002 to 2005, he was also a sports reporter for "Five Live Breakfast."

He even commentated on the Super Bowl XLII for Radio 5 Live in February 2008. This is a very big American football game.

Commentating on Cricket: Test Match Special
