History of Sedan Arrondissement
The Ardennes department was created in the year 1800. At that time, the Sedan arrondissement was already a part of it.
Later, on September 10, 1926, the Sedan arrondissement was removed from the list of arrondissements. However, it was brought back and made an arrondissement again in 1942.
Where is Sedan Arrondissement?
The Sedan arrondissement is located in a key area. To its north, it shares a border with Belgium, specifically the Luxembourg province.
To the east, it borders the Meuse department in France. To the south, it is next to the Vouziers arrondissement. Finally, to the west, it borders the Charleville-Mézières arrondissement.
